Design Documentation

Postby vega » Thu Jun 21, 2007 7:06 pm

Hi everyone!.

I'm interested in participating as a developer in the project. I was thinkining about plugging ftp input into J2EE through a resource adapter (JCA 1.5). Wouldn't it be cool to have "FTP driven beans" (push message style)? :D

I have already downloaded the sources, but I haven't found design documentation (UML stuff), it would be kind of difficult to really get involved without it.

Does someone know where can I found some architectural reference, besides JavaDoc?

Thanks very much for your interest of this project. You may feedback bug reports, provide patches, etc., to participate in the CrossFTP Server project here.

The design of CrossFTP Server is majorly based on Apache FTP Server. The classes are very easy to read and understand. You may find some more documents at (some different exists, since Apache FTP now corporate new TLS/SSL handlers which requires Java 1.5): http://incubator.apache.org/ftpserver/d ... ation.html
