Question: My company needs secure file transfer channel encryption based on approved cryptographic algorithm, such as AES, etc. Does CrossFTP Pro supports this?

The answer is YES. You can further select the cipher suites to be used in file transportation by (Security -> Cipher Settings).Here are the details for the supported cryptographic algorithms.

1. TLS/SSL transport protocol (including FTPS/Implicit, FTPS/SSL, FTPS/TLS, WebDav/HTTPS):

Approved Algorithm
: the following cryptographic algorithms can be used in CrossFTP: DSA; Triple-DES; AES; RSA; SHA-1; CrossFTP Pro utilizes the industry standard Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) package for the TLS/SSL transportation. You can utilize all the industry standard cryptographic algorithms mentioned above.

Advanced cryptographic algorithms, such as AES 256 BIT, are disabled by default in the Java system due to import/export limitation laws. You need to download the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files to enable these algorithms.

Further more, third party's JSSE provider extension can also be deployed in your Java System to provide advanced secure features, for example, IBM's FIPS approved secure provider.

2. SFTP/SSH protocol:

Approved Algorithm: the following cryptographic algorithms can be used in CrossFTP: Triple-DES; Blowfish;
