CrossFTP for Academic/Non-Profit

This licensing category is for academic/non-profit institutions including schools, colleges, universities, and non-profit research center. The academic/non-profit license is valid for multiple servers and/or domain names. Our licensing scheme uses a graduated scale to caculate the price. In this scenario, the "number of users" is defined as the total number of enrolled students, staff and faculty in the institution. It is up to the discretion of Crossworld to decide if the institution belongs in this category. Under this agreement, Crossworld reserves the right to request information about the total number of students and faculty.

There is an annual fee to renew the CrossFTP Site license. The cost of the renewal will be 30% of the regular price of a license. (This excludes all specials and rebates.) This fee will entitle you to premium support and upgrades to the version of the CrossFTP for an additional 12 months. If you don't want to pay renewal fees, you can purchase a perpetual license for 2.0 times the original cost. Under perpetual license, you will still be entitled to all upgrades and premium support.

For example: You are a community college with an enrollment of 8,000 students and 1000 staff and faculty members. Under this agreement you will be paying for 9,000 users.

The license price will be:
   For the first 2,000 users @ $0.10 per user = $200
For the next 3,000 users @ $0.05 per user = $150
For the remaning 4,000 users @ $0.04 per user = $160
The total price will be $510 with an annual renewal of 30% or for $1020 you could purchase a perpetual license.

CrossFTP for Commercial/Service Provider

This license category is for ISPs, web hosting or FTP hosting providers who wish to offer a web-based FTP client for their users to utilize when connecting to their FTP server. The license is valid for multiple servers and/or domain names. Our licensing scheme uses a graduated scale to caculate the price. In this scenario, "# of users" is defined as the total number of paid accounts. This plan is available to businesses that offer ISPs/Web/FTP hosting as their primary service. It is up to the discretion of Crossworld to decide if your business belongs in this category. Under this agreement, Crossworld Software has the right to audit your records to verify the total number of paid accounts. The cost of the renewal will be 30% of the regular price of a license. (This excludes all specials and rebates.)

For example: You are a FTP hosting company with 20,000 total accounts (free or paid). Out of the 20,000 accounts you only have 7,000 paid accounts. Under this agreement you should be paying for 7,000 users.

The license price will be:
For the first 1,000 users @ $0.70 per user = $700
For the next 4,000 users @ $0.10 per user = $400
For the remaning 2,000 users @ 0.08 per user = $160
The total price will be $1260 with an annual renewal of 30%; Or for $2520 you could buy a lifetime license.
